The white sky on the bottom and slowly getting darker on top add to the details of the over all picture. With the clouds being almost black bring out the fair sky, and the back field. The tree draws in your attention, and the dirt road. The rows on the field are also more prudent, and the wooden fence adds to the dirt road.
I love how this picture still looks very real even in black and white. I can still see the details on the old swings and how the sky goes from dark to light. By being black and white gives it a questionable affect on the viewer.
The branches and grass appear as if this is a fairy tale. The colors are very soft looking, and the picture is calming. The darkness of the tree trunks along with the white grass add the detail within the photo.
The main focal point is obviously the hot air balloon, and being completly black doesn't distract the photo. The glowing from the sun on the clouds and behind the balloon bring out the details on the edges of the clouds. I am not distracted by other bright colors that would have been present.
The clouds in the background really add to this photo. The detail of them shows how real the are even in black and white. The ferris wheel looks old fashioned and doesn't appear to bright. With the sun right behind it, brings out the other details of it while not just being the only focal point. The clouds is what my eyes are drawn to.
